Ed and I were in freshman gym together. We were both less than tall so I recall that we had to struggle for rebounds against the taller guys in b-ball. We always gave a good effort and stayed close durirng our years at Lane.
I know I speak for many of our brothers when I mention the cool experience from our 40th reunion when Eddie led us in the School Song. Rock em Sock em Eddie Ozaki could sure sing!
For the record, Ed passed away in Febrauray 2018. I had the pleasure of singing with Ed in the St. Paul of the Cross Choir for 8 years prior to his passing. As some of you know, Ed had a booming voice and an expectional tenor range. On occassion, he sang with the Chicago Symphony and other local choirs. Peace be with you always, Brother.
