Event Program
LTHS Tour 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Start the day’s celebration with a tour of the revered hallways and special spaces of our historically significant high school bringing back many treasured memories.
Enter LTHS at the M entrance in the back at the southeast corner of the school, check-in with security and meet in Civics Room #113 for a pre-tour and social gathering.
The LTHS tour is sponsored by the Lane Tech Alumni Association (LTAA). They have been keeping Lane Alumni connected & engaged since 1981. LTAA provides connections, archival resources, and academic support. www.lanetechalumni.org
You will also have the opportunity during the tour to visit the Friends of Lane Spirt Store. This is an all-volunteer, parent - driven group dedicated to supporting programs and activities for students, teachers, and Lane Tech High School. There are over 50 different types of LTHS paraphernalia that can be viewed and purchased. You can also visit the Spirt Store prior to the tour at www.friendsoflane.org
At the conclusion of the tour, we will take a group picture in the Memorial Garden.
Meet and Greet 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The afternoon event is scheduled to be at the Unforgettable Lounge. Stop by for a meet and greet with your fellow classmates. Sandwiches and snacks will be served and there will plenty of time to talk and get caught up with everyone.
The Unforgettable Lounge has been a fixture in the Old Irving Park neighborhood since the 1950's. Nancy Erskine has been the owner since 2005 and she is a Lane Tech 1978 graduate. They are a friendly neighborhood tavern that offers a wide variety of domestic, as well as craft and import brews including Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) and Old Style.

Celebration Dinner Cocktails 6:00 p.m. / Dinner 7:30 p.m.
The celebration dinner is being held at La Villa Banquet Hall located in Chicago’s Old Irving Park Area and has been a local favorite with unforgettable food and service since 1972. They have even been featured on Chicago’s WTTW Program “Check Please”!
The celebration will start with a cocktail hour followed by a preselected dinner menu. LTHS memorabilia will be on display and a digital presentation of photos and other material from LTHS and significant happenings throughout our high school era will provide a backdrop for the start of our evening. There will be background music during the cocktail hour and after dinner. Individual table pictures and a group picture will be taken along with the singing of Go Lane Go.

We are gathering photos and memorabilia to share during the evening event which will be on display in the main banquet room. We would like to have as much material that we can collect for your viewing to spark the many memories at Lane.
Please email any photos that you may have or a list of items you would be willing to share with your classmates at the evening event to lanetech1973@gmail.com. Any shared items should be marked with your name and will be returned at the time of your departure.

Parking is available at the rear near the southeast corner of the school building and is immediately accessible off Western Ave. approximately 900 feet south of Addison. Enter LTHS at the M entrance.
Unforgettable Bar 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Unforgettable Bar is located at 4206 N. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL. It is just west of the Kennedy Expressway on the north side of Irving Park and is approximately 150 feet west of Keller Ave. Parking is available on Irving Park and the surrounding side streets.
LA Villa Banquet Hall 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
La Villa is located at 3638 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL. It is two blocks north of Addison Street and is on the west side of Pulaski Road. There is free ample parking on both the north and south sides of the banquet facilities.

Reservation and Payment
Event Reservations & Payment
The package cost for the LTHS Tour in the morning, the meet and greet in the afternoon and the evening dinner celebration is $120/person. A guest of Lane graduates are welcome to purchase ticket.
The event is limited to a total of 225 graduates including guests.
Payment is to be made in full by August 31, 2023 to secure you a spot at our event.
Package does not include transporation to any event.
Sponsorships
There are three sponsorship opportunities available to defray the 50th Anniversary event costs.

Gold Level: $250
Bronze: $100
Myrtle Level: $50
Any event sponsorship amounts in excess of the event costs will be made to Lane Tech Alumni Association (LTAA) for use as Scholarships or Teacher Grant Programs for Special Projects & Equipment.
Payment for any sponsorships should be made at the Class Creator payment website.
Recognition of any event sponsorships will prominently be made at the event.

As the Host Committee, we are extreamly pleased to be able to organize the 50th Anniversary celebration and want to thank all of you that are about to attend this once in a lifetime event.
We know that it will be a great occasion to re-establish contact with our classmates, and rekindle our high school memories and trust that you will have a great time reliving the past and creating new memories for the future.
